Varsity Tutors is seeking a talented tutoring director to run its Phoenix city-wide operation. Please send a letter of interest and resume to be considered for the job. The majority of work that this position entails can be performed from home using a computer with internet access and a company-provided BlackBerry. The candidate must be located in Phoenix. Previous experience running a tutoring center is preferred.

Job Qualifications
• Ideal applicant will have previous experience running a tutoring center
• Ability to work 40 hours per week
• Completion of 4 year college or university
• Masters degree a +
• Reliable transportation
• Superior communication ability
• Honest and reliable
• Applicants must be willing to submit to criminal background check and driving record checks in order to be eligible for employment
• Previous experience in education field or management role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work in order to meet client needs
• Excellent project management / organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to build and expand client base through marketing initiatives

• Recruiting, interviewing and contracting tutors
• Responding to client inquiries via e-mail and telephone
• Assigning prospective clients to qualified tutors
