Description As a  Software Engineer for this global medical device company you will work with cross-functional teams through all phases of product design and development from initial concepts through the FDA approval to the product launch to deliver cutting edge medical products.  Deliver products that meet or exceed customer requirements on-time and on-budget through effective planning and risk mitigation.  Create a high performance/accountability based culture among development teams while working to eliminate any obstacles that may possibly hinder the team’s ability to develop and launch new products. 

Must have the ability to effectivly contribute to the Global Product Development Resources Team to accelerate new product development while still keeping a focus on producing a high quality issue free software.  Utilize and integrate all of the resources within the cross functional team for non-core development activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5 years Visual Studio .NET development experience
  • Expert C# programming knowledge
  • Expert knowledge of .NET Framework 3.5 for WinForms application development
  • Demonstrated Object-Oriented design expertise
  • C++/MFC application development experience
  • Relational Database data-access programming with ADO.NET
  • COM/ActiveX and native C++ Interop with .NET managed code


Other desired expertise:

  • Experience with regulated industry a plus, specifically FDA regulated development
  • Install development experience strongly desired
  • Medical Imaging or similar graphics-programming experience a plus
  • Network programming (TCP, UDP, HTTP)
  • Enterprise development using multi-tiered architectures
  • Windows Presentation, Communication, and Workflow Foundation experience
  • Web-service development
