Business Office Coordinator

Responsible for the completion of all business office tasks performed at the facility level, including but not limited to payroll/personnel, accounts payable, resident trust fund and general administration. Coordinates the daily flow of financial information / documentation to and from the central billing office (CBO) to facilitate the timely billing and collection of accounts receivable.

Billing & collection of private receivables. Experience in private collections. Experience in a Healthcare business office environment are all required.

Experience in a long term care facility, hospital or clinic business office is required.  Applicants will not be considered for this position unless they meet that requirement.



 

  • Minimum of one (1) year work experience in payroll and/or personnel-related duties in a long term care facility, hospital or health care clinic is a must have.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate open communications, build cohesive working relationships and foster cooperation in a team-oriented environment where the unification of internal and external resources is key.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Excel and Word, mainframe computer systems and PC LANs.
  • Exposure to automated tasking system preferred.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance.
