Come be a part of our success as a Maintenance Manager at our apartment community in Graham, NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely and accurate processing of Laramar invoices. Also responsible for resolving account discrepancies, customer service to Laramar subsidiaries, and accurate filing of payment records and documentation.
- Duties include overseeing maintenance and grounds staff
- Fulfilling resident repair requests (plumbing, electrical, drywall, lock changes, etc),
- Coordinating apartment turnovers.
- Fulfilling resident repair requests as needed. This includes plumbing, electrical, drywall, lock changes, light carpentry, etc.
- Assist maintenance and leasing team with apartment turnovers.
- Repair and maintenance of common areas (indoor and outdoor) as needed.
- Assist Maintenance Manager on projects as required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Be dependable/reliable and follow through on commitments, producing timely work to required- or higher-standards, and pitching in to get the job completed
- Be attentive to detail and monitoring adherence to company standards
- Valid driver’s license
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- HVAC certification required.
- CPO certification a plus.
- 5 years experience in electrical, plumbing, painting and maintenance.
- Great customer service and organizational aptitude.
- Must be available for weekend, overtime and on-call hours.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus!
- High school diploma required.
