Description
Our client is located near the Albany, NY region.
This is a new position being created and our client is in midst of multi million dollar expansion.
These are the areas we belive will be the focus:
Will provide technical, engineering support to group (both hourly and engineering staff), as part of teams. Identify and implement cost effective improvements in safety, quality, reliability and production. Organize and manage projects in team environment. Continuous improvement project from concept through production.
• Intimate Reliability Engineering activities involving predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and condition monitoring, vibration analysis
• Implementing TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Preventative maintenance, periodic maintenance, corrective maintenance
• Investigating / Implementing RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) techniques to Repair, illustrating consequences of component or system failures.
• Utilizing modern TPM, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma methodologies, and Lean Manufacturing techniques to develop a best in class maintenance operation.
• Developing and implementing strategic operating plans to ensure the highest metrics driving & increasing equipment uptime availabilities
• Supporting capital projects and process improvements involving high volume manufacturing systems.
• Key involvement / leading equipment, facilities, utilities, and shop floor troubleshooting activities.
Requirements
BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
Over 5-7 years of mechanical / maintenance engineering within high speed manufacturing / continuous process plant.
Exceptional Project Management, Project Leadership, Process Improvement, and Capital Project Management experience.
Process Improvement experience such as implementing TPM, RCM, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma methodologies, and Lean Manufacturing techniques including Process Mapping, CTQ, Root Cause Analysis, Control Charts and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Six Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
