Job Description

Heraeus Metal Processing, LLC is currently seeking to fill the position of a Process Development Engineer in our Santa Fe Springs, Ca plant.  The essential duties within the position would be to design and develop future production processes while improving the existing processes in place.  

 

 

  • Supports and works with the production team to solve problems within production  as they occur
  • Supports the maintenance group and assists in selecting the best material needed for production
  • Plan and execute assigned projects for the development of new processes and products while considering the costs and time management
  •  Executes projects related to production while working closely with Production Managers, Supervisors and Operators
  • Maintain complete documentation of the assigned projects including operational, working instructions and procedures in accordance with the company’s ISO system
  • Provide proper training of Supervisors and Operators for new and improved processes and/or products
  • Knowledge of Inorganic Chemicals, a plus!

Job Requirements
  •   BS or MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 5-10 yrs of chemical project engineering experience
  •  Experienced with AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project
