Telecommunications Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

 

Due to exceptional growth, FTS USA is seeking a Warehouse Manager in the Agawam, MA area.  The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of daily warehouse activities and personnel.

To hit the ground running in this position, you must be a dedicated, dynamic, hands on warehouse manager who is organized, a natural leader, able to make quick and clear decisions and able to multi-task and delegate effectively. A tremendous emphasis is placed on follow through and a positive, up-beat attitude. Your ability to work effectively under pressure is a must.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but may not be limited to:

•         Manage full time and temporary warehouse staff

•         Manage receiving and stocking of products

•        Manage precise picking and sign out of products on a accurately and timely basis

•         Implement and manage physical inventory/cycle counting program and reconciliation

•        Manage return product processing

•        Proficient with various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, etc.

 



Requirements •  Minimum 4 year’s experience directly supervising associates in a materials/ERP environment

• Computer experienced required

• Strong Microsoft Office experience preferred.  Proficient in the use of spreadsheets, word processing and computerized inventory systems.

• Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Must possess strong problem solving, decision making, analytical skills and organizational skills

•  Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures

• Work with management to ensure that warehouse performance goals are consistently met.

• Creates an environment where associates are involved, empowered and committed to the success of the company.

•  Establishes SMART quality and productivity goals and ensures compliance for assigned location.

•  Evaluates warehouse operations workflow including leading cross functional efforts to evaluate, recommend and improve work processes.

•  Promotes good housekeeping and safety.

•  Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Please note that while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and lift over 60 lbs.
