Our client is a saturation direct mail shopping magazine delivered each week to residences and businesses in Charlotte, NC.  They are the industry-leading direct mail magazine with a unique internet component and are currently recruiting customer-focused OUTSIDE SALES RESPRESENTATIVES to spearhead expansion and cover this BRAND NEW TERRITORY. This represents a ground-floor opportunity for you with a nationally recognized local advertising powerhouse. Get in at the beginning as they grow into a new $8.5 million dollar local production facility.

Their newly completed multi-million dollar headquarters in Monroe, NC, is the foundation of an ambitious expansion and they are actively seeking  people to assist in building an exciting and profitable enterprise. The company's Monroe, NC facility, according to recently published reports, is projected to create nearly 300 jobs. It is well on the way toward that goal.

job Requirements

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • 1+ years of some sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience. A proven track record in competitive environments such as business, academics or athletics will pay dividends. 
  • Some "Cold-calling" capability
  • Daily reporting, sales activity and accountability

  • Proficiency in computer and internet use

  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

 

Our client's culture emphasizes ongoing training beginning with two weeks in the classroom and extends to field training with successful advertising professionals. They pay a salary during training, and you will graduate to a salary plus commission plan as your skills evolve.
