Description

Opus Scientific has an immediate opportunity for a Lab Technician at a startup Biotech Company in the Paramus area.

Shift Available: Monday through Friday – 9am – 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

Develop test method protocols
Perform mechanical testing of medical device prototypes
Maintain accurate lab notebooks
Evaluate data and generate reports documenting results
Able to perform testing with minimal supervision

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or related field
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a lab environment
Experience with Adhesives
Knowledge in formulations and experimental design
Some Instron Experience a plus
Must have solid foundation in general principles of scientific inquiry
Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment
Computer skills in Microsoft Office
Good written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

Dependent upon experience
