Description
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Coordinate and lead specialty engineering activities, this will include performing tasks in the disciplines of reliability, maintainability, safety, human factors and components engineering. Interpret specialty engineering program requirements. Generate specialty engineering documentation in accordance with applicable military and customer specifications. Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians. Detail understanding of electrical stress and circuit analysis. Interface with customers, subcontractors, vendors, designers, manufacturing and business development. Present specialty engineering program status at customer reviews. Accountability for schedule and budget of assigned programs. Generate specialty engineering proposal text and cost estimates. Occasional travel.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, information systems or other related technical discipline plus two years of related experience; or Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline. Effective written and oral communication skills are required. Proficiency in using Microsoft office software is required. Ability to obtain a security clearance is desired. US Citizenship required.
