Job Description
Central Garden & Pet Company (NASDAQ:CENT), is a leading innovator, marketer and producer of quality branded products for the pet and lawn and garden supplies markets.

The Garden Group of Central Garden & Pet, a division providing sales support and logistics for both proprietary brands and other consumer recognized brands, is searching for a Territory Manager to call on home improvement retailers Lowe’s and Home Depot covering the Dallas, TX  market.

Key Responsibilities

• Down stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden grass seed, chemicals, clay pottery and fertilizers

• Negotiating additional display space

• Developing relationships with store management

• Training store personnel

• Managing 4-5 part time merchandisers
 
Job Requirements
Experience/Skills/Education

• BS degree or an extended amount of retail experience

• Travel required - Salary plus bonus and all expenses will be reimbursed for mileage and overnight stays
