Production Management - Food Manufacturing

We are working with our client to help them find an outstanding Production Manager for their food manufacturing operation located just outside Metro NYC. The client is looking for candidates that have a successful track record as a Plant Manager is a small operation, or a major department manager in a larger operation. This position should be viewed as a step in a career with the company. The ideal candidate will be aspiring to be a plant manager/Division manager and will have excellent communication and teambuilding skills. The company will assist with relocation and offers an outstanding career path. The successful candidate will have food MANUFACTURING management experience (Food Service, QSR, Restaurant, or Kitchen experience does NOT work here). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. BS or BA Degree

2. Sufficient food MANUFACTURING management experience to be ready for this position.

3. Experience and understanding of the food acronyms such as FDA, OSHA, USDA, GMP, HACCP, AIB, SSOP, SOP, TQM, AQL, etc.

4. Experience working with outside and 3rd party audits.
5. Production of Ready to Eat products preferred.

1. Conversational Spanish

2. Lean Manufacturing experience
