Description * Analyzes early delinquent and over the limit accounts on consumer loans, lines of credit and credit cards in order to determine appropriate collection action.
* Evaluates member financial situations and provide decisions to minimize loss exposure.
* Provides clerical support with end of month reports, asset quality, bankruptcy, and legal support.
* Accepts and provide skip trace call information.
* Receives members in person and by telephone for Collections Department and all related issues.
* Assists credit union attorney with lawsuits
* Receives and posts payment of daily disability insurance and delinquent accounts such as: Gap, MBI, and premium refunds.

Requirements Requirements:

* 2 years of collections experience in financial institution or comparable experience.
* Must possess effective oral and written communications skills and be highly service oriented.
* Must have complete knowledge of collections laws.
* Must be able to work in a high volume environment.
