Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - FULL TIME - A092409-0068

A permanent, fulltime, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is needed to join one of Minnesota's premier hospital systems, just an hour and a half southeast of Minneapolis.  This area offers magnificent attractions, theatres, restaurants, sporting events, and entertainment; located in the heart of the city, it is a wonderful place to work and live.  Enjoy the flexibility of either 24 or 12 hour shifts.  Ideally the provider will work 1 FTE, but the Pediatric Department is willing to consider a reduced schedule.   Primary responsibilities include day to day management of newborns and high-risk newborns in a Level II nursery.  There are also opportunities for providers to rotate into a Level III nursery if desired.  Work with a group consisting of multiple doctors, six NNPs, and a substantial support staff that delivers compassionate and quality care to this delicate pediatric patient population.  Ample training is provided, and the group is open to hiring new graduates.  Following the orientation period, providers will need to be comfortable working autonomously, develop skills to take call as a sole provider on the unit, and have an upbeat, positive attitude.  This position does include some weekend and holiday coverage.  The salary ranges from 80 - 112K depending on experience, full comprehensive benefits are included, and relocation assistance is offered.
