Description
Due to promotion, our recession proof client - growing division of a Fortune 500 Food Company that is Ranked in the Top 100 Best to Work for as well as Top 50 for Women and Minorities needs an excellent leader with fast track tendencies that will lead a team of hourly employees in their state of the art food manufacturing plant. This person will have knowledge of manufacturing processes and successful "Process Improvement" programs.
In need of a fast track, individual who will be responsible for providing direction and support to a production team:
- ensuring the team abides by all safety and quality standards, leading and executing strategic plant initiatives, including owning and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) tools, and providing business leadership, insuring achievement of business objectives. This position will be 1st or off shift (2nd or 3rd shift and will report directly to the Operations Manager. Lead, motivate, and support a production team composed of operators working in both packaging and processing areas build the team and drive soft-skill as well as technical development for all team members. Manage and coordinate skill straining for all members of the production team to meet business needs

Requirements
*Bachelors degree required; the following majors preferred: Engineering, - Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Technology, Management, Milling Science etc...
*3-10 years in a large food/beverage/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
*Documented success with a history of upward progress.
*Advanced knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement techniques highly preferred
*This is a highly visible position so helpful if exposed to a Fortune 500 Management Development program such as: Nestle, Pepsi, Coke, Kraft, Conagra, Dean Foods, Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever etc.....
