Description Atlantic Health Group is bringing their billing and collections department in-house and is seeking qualified medical collectors to join their team. Position is responsible for the following:

Perform collection activities requiring routine follow-up and account resolution.
Review of remittance advices to verify proper reimbursement.
Post contractual adjustments.
Verify accuracy and completeness of billing information and re-bill claims as needed.
Manage the aging of account receivables.
Submit appeals for denied claims.
Weekly reporting of collection activity to management staff.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
MINIMUM OF FIVE YEARS MEDICAL COLLECTIONS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
Must have thorough understanding of medical billing and insurance reimbursment practices.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management and staff.
PC, Windows environment and Microsoft Office skills required.
Keane billing software experience preferred.
