Sales Representative

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 40+

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Compensation: Base + Commission + Bonuses

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing relationships with companies throughout West Michigan to drive revenue and grow business.  This is an acquisition-oriented business, and Sales Representatives are expected to be bringing on new business constantly.  Additionally responsibilities for the Sales Representatives include:

 

  • Selling company services, their reputation and their products in order to obtain sales and secure new business accounts within assigned territory.
  • Prospecting and qualifying leads via telemarketing, referrals, etc., to obtain maximum sales and potential volume from all markets in assigned territory.
  • Utilizing resources and perform research to determine sales patterns and strategies.
  • Understanding and maintaining current knowledge on the company's products, services, features, benefits and applications.
Requirements

 

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of B2B/outside sales experience, and a maximum of three (3) years experience of B2B/outside sales experience
  • Bachelors Degree is required.
  • Excellent cold calling skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Leadership/Sports/Competitive background is a plus.
