Job Requirements

“Insure" your future.

 

The Accounting Department is looking to add an Associate Accountant. Our team is looking towards the future by implementing new technology so as to better serve ICW Group.  We handle all the bills and make sure cash is available for payments as well as investing.  We strive to be the “answer people" to our company.

 

“Claim" your role.

 

Our Associate Accountant is a person who can represent the Accounting team and excel in a team-oriented environment. You are well organized, you have the ability to multi-task, the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments even faster, you are analytical and you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with accounts payable and account analysis
    • Month end reconciliation of vendor accounts
  • Assist with internal monthly financial statements
    • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned
  • Assist with quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
    • Assist in processing the filing
  • Perform various general accounting functions
    • Reconciliation of General Ledgers accounts
  • Acting as a hybrid between accounts payable and general accounting
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on Accounting Department software packages (will train)
    • Including SAP – FixAsset, General Ledger and Accounts Payable
  • Serve as backup Concure administrator (employee reimbursement program)
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 1 to 2 years of applicable experience
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Excellent Excel skills
