Nara Bank has an outstanding opportunity for Training & Development Manager looking to build our training infrastructure. 


SUMMARY:
  
    Lead the Training and Development initiatives determined collaboratively with executive management and business unit managers and implement the strategic direction of the training programs in support of business objectives. Manage employee training/performance, process improvement & efficiencies, internal corporate communication, and employee recognition programs/events.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for successful execution and sustaining of training activities for employees
  • Determine talent and development priorities, training plans and curriculum consistent with business strategy
  • Conduct research into training and development solutions and recommending appropriate implementation to influence and change behaviors
  • Present staff-developed and externally purchased training programs for employees
  • Identify appropriate external seminars and training programs for employees and administer the funding of these programs
  • Work in conjunction with external consultants to customize training curriculums for specific business units such as sales
  • Design and conduct team-building programs for departments, work groups and/or regions
  • Facilitate training programs organization wide
  • Devise training effectiveness metrics and data collection process
  • Manage employee communication by producing and distributing printed and electronic messages
  • Design and produce employee recognition program and events
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Requires minimum of 7-10 years of experience in leading talent and leadership development programs at a corporate level
  • Knowledge of talent development methodologies and techniques, instructional design and excellent presentation skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of Excel

  • Prior experience in banking industry preferred

  • Bachelors degree in English, Communication or related field preferred
