Description The Division of Student Services at Indiana University Northwest seeks an experienced higher education administrator to provide leadership in the development and delivery of comprehensive, coordinated retention services.  In addition to supervising student services departments that provide academic support, the Executive Director will interface with other campus units in the development and improvement of programs to enhance student success; evaluate the effectiveness of student retention efforts in meeting the needs of students and achieving institutional goals; collect, analyze and report data on student persistence, retention and student satisfaction.
Requirements

Doctorate in higher education administration or related field preferred, working knowledge of current retention theory and ability to apply this to practice; five to seven years experience in supervising unit directors.  This position reports to the Vice Chancellor for Student Services.  Anticipated start date:  February 1, 2010.
