Qualified candidates should possess the following:

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

CPA/MS desired
-
6-8 years total experience including 4-6 years of public accounting experience with big 4 public accounting firms and financial reporting experience with mid to large SEC registrants
-
Strong GAAP knowledge and extensive background with SEC filings
-
Extreme attention to detail (the importance of detail orientation for this position cannot be over emphasized)

Results orientation

Ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and “roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks

Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task

Resourceful, action-orientated with the ability to meet deadlines and turnaround requests in short order

Extensive experience working on review and preparation process of SEC filings and in creation of supporting documentation

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated leadership skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage processes and identify cross-functional issues
