Fitness experts wanted to deliver education program designed to provide entry-level employment skills and abilities for personal trainers.
The Professional Fitness Trainer program at Branford Hall is growing. We have openings for qualified adjunct faculty. Faculty will provide expert instruction in the areas of program design, fitness assessments and physical science courses.
Our faculty has the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future direction and growth of personal training industry.
Day and evening positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver approved curriculum, work with and augment daily lesson plans.
-Participate in student retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
-Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process.
-Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with college standards.
-Maintains expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design.
Position Requirements:
- Three (3) years practical experience in a field related to subject
- Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or similar field, Masters Degree preferred
- Teaching experience helpful
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act effectively as a member of a team
- Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material
- Must be a self-starter, goal oriented and organized
- Candidates without a NCCA personal training certification will be carefully considered.
