Sr. Mechanical Engineer
- Interface with system engineers and design authorities to develop a thorough understanding of the vital safety systems and critical systems, structures, and components of a Plutonium Finishing Plant.
- Utilize extensive experience in nuclear facility design, operations, project management, and D&D background, to create a detailed Back-Out/D&D plan to meet corporate and TPA milestones.
- Wage commensurate with education and experience level.

Requirements
Ideal applicant:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Washington State.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in nuclear facility engineering/operations/management on the Hanford site.
- Successful implementation of a D&D strategy for a nuclear facility on the Hanford site.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of DOE Orders and ISMS/EMS/VPP.
- Strong communication skills-written, verbal, and listening.
- Must be able to obtain an unescorted badge for nuclear plant, must pass background and drug test.
- Must have US Citizenship.
