Maintenance Supervisor

The recognized leader in its industry and a major user of heavy construction type equipment such as FRONT END LOADERS, OFF-HIGHWAY TRUCKS, HYDRAULIC CRANES, AND DIESEL SEMI TRACTOR TRAILERS, Tube City IMS is looking for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to direct a professional mobile equipment maintenance staff located at our facility in Claymont, DE.

You must be able to communicate with senior management as well as hourly maintenance mechanics and be willing to accept nothing less than the best.

You will be responsible for equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, parts purchasing and other related activities.You will provide the expertise to enable the equipment to be maintained and operated in a very tough environment.

Requirements

You must have experience working as a mechanic, supervisor or maintenance foreman with a construction or heavy duty equipment user.

This is a hands-on position where you will be required to get out in the field and work closely with a workforce of skilled maintenance mechanics.  

You should have computer skills and have a solid working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics and mechanical systems as well as be a creative thinker.
