THIS POSITION REQUIRES STABLE HUMAN RESOURCE EXPERIENCE IN SOME TYPE OF CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING PLANT.


A Fortune 500 Chemical Manufacturer is searching for a Human Resource and General Affairs Manager. The opportunities are endless with this Fortune 500 Company. Our Client’s Chemical Division has earned a worldwide reputation for quality products. They have established major new production facilities in the U.S., and Internationally with branch offices around the world. This expansion is a result of their outstanding success and acceptance by the market and ensures the continuing globalization of our Client.

There are some long-term employees of the company at this site so it is a tough environment.  So must be willing to take on some strong personalities and challenges that are taking place.  Here is your chance to make an impact on a facility that needs a strong presence in Human Resources.  They have made a lot of headway but there is more to come. 


The responsibilities for this professional will be all the generalist activities in a Human Resource Manager’s role.  Will have a support staff of one HR supervisor, General Affairs supervisor and one HR Clerk.  Will handle strategic planning and team development for this site.  Will maintain current programs.  Develop and implement new Human Resource programs.  Employee relations, safety, training and development are huge concentration areas.  The company wants this HR Manager to be a Business Partner for this organization.  Will have a lot of support from and interaction with corporate headquarters. 


BS degree required.  At least 10 years in Human Resources and 5 of those in Management.  Must be willing to take on new challenges now and in the future.

Requirements

1.      Bachelors degree mandatory

2.      8 or more years in Human Resources in a manufacturing operation, 5 years in a Manager role. (HR experience in some type of Chemical manufacturing Environment is mandatory.)

3.      Team developer, Union avoidance, strategic planning and organizational development are necessary
