Job Description


Experienced Import/Export, Logistics Sales Needed!!
<Sales/Account Management Experience required>

<Position Summary>

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE is expected to build relationships with new and existing customers.  Research and identify new potential customers for the International Logistics dept.  Thru communication with existing customer, you will be responsible to insure customer request are met with the highest level of customer service.  In turn you will be communicating with the International Logistics department to make sure those requests are being implemented/satisfied. 


<Duties and Responsibilities>

  • Research and identify potential new customers.
  • Heavy outbound calls and visits to solicit new business.
  • Negotiate pricing/rates with customers.
  • Assist with the implementation of the business.
  • Customer maintenance for existing customers.
  • Daily communication with existing customers.
  • Problem solving
  • Assessing customer needs
  • Communicate with International Logistics dept’s personnel to ensure service levels are being met.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accounts payables, receivables and collections.

 

Salary Range: Base Salary of $35,000-40,000 plus Commission based on performance

Job Requirements

  • A candidate with 5 – 10 years of sales and marketing and freight forwarding experience is a plus.
  • Effective technical selling skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Must be willing to travel (in state and out of state)
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong ability to multi-task is a must.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skill
  • Willingness to work in a teamwork-oriented, culturally diversified, detail-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual (English and Japanese, business level fluency) is a plus
