Founded on Cape Cod in 1970, Christmas Tree Shops is a leading, value priced retailer of home décor, giftware, housewares, food, paper goods, and seasonal products for every time of the year.
For over three decades, Christmas Tree Shops has been, and continues to be, a destination of choice for customers who enjoy a distinctive and exciting shopping environment and an ever-changing assortment of unique, exclusive, and branded merchandise for all seasons.
In 2003, the customer response and enthusiasm for Christmas Tree Shops captured the attention of domestics and home furnishings market leader, Bed Bath & Beyond.
The purchase of Christmas Tree Shops by Bed Bath & Beyond later that year confirmed the broad appeal and enormous growth potential of the Christmas Tree Shops brand and operating model in both new and existing markets in the United States.
Today, Christmas Tree Shops operates more than 50 locations in 12 states ranging in size up to 58,000 square feet. In 2008, Christmas Tree Shops continued its growth with 10 additional stores and an expansion into 2 more states. This coming year, the growth of Christmas Tree Shops will continue with additional new stores, and many new job opportunities in its Stores, Distribution Centers, and Corporate Office.
