Merchant Services Sales Representative (2294)

Job Description:

Our Merchant Services Sales Representative will help our retail business customers increase market share and improve their competitive stance by expanding their acceptance of different payment types; in particular, credit cards. Our rep will partner with our Relationship Managers, Branch Managers and Treasury Management Representatives to pursue referrals and sales leads. We offer a unique in-house structure that provides extensive service support, latitude to make pricing recommendations, and a high level of camaraderie.


 


Generate Sales


Work directly with relationship managers and branch managers to meet established sales goals and objectives. Identify sales opportunities, set appointments and make sales calls to bank customers and prospects. Track and report sales initiatives to enable management to monitor sales progress


 


Provide Analysis


Perform analysis to demonstrate the cost/benefits of bank’s services.


Conduct Training


Develop, coordinate and present quarterly training sessions and product updates to internal and external customers of the bank.


 


What You Need to Succeed:


Requirements include a BS/BA degree and 2+ years of successful Sales experience OR, in lieu of a degree, 5+ years of sales experience. You must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. A strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.
