Senior PL/SQL Developer

POSITION DUTIES

CIBER is looking for a Senior PL/SQL developer who has been heavily involved in the entire SDLC process. The opportunity is with one of our financial services clients around the Valley Forge area.  The successful candidate will be involved in several facets of the project including but not limited to high/low level design of PL/SQL code; developing, testing, supporting PL/SQL code; as well as gathering, defining and documenting requirements. SKILL REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for this opportunity are

• 3-5 year minimum Oracle PL/SQL design and coding experience;
• expertise in advanced PL/SQL techniques in Oracle 10g;
• experience in SQL tuning of medium/large database environments;
• strong knowledge and adherence of development methodologies, standards and best practice;
• proven experience in implementing code that performs well in a high volume data environment;
• ability to assimilate existing code quickly and making improvement recommendations;
• proficiency at multi-tasking and providing expertise for developers across multiple project teams;
• experience with UNIX a plus;
• familiar with Java as it pertains to the implementation of PL/SQL stored procedures
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills due to daily client contact;
• a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
• a background in financial services is a strong plus.

This is a full time position with CIBER - sorry no relocations will be considered.
