Our client is one of the fastest growing futures trading firms in Chicago and they are looking for a Senior Linux/UNIX Engineer with Cisco Networking experience to help bring their technology infrastructure in-house from a current outsourced model. The position will be the most senior level hands-on technical employee in the company and will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of the Linux migration from outsourced to in-house.
In addition, this will be a leadership role that will ultimately be responsible for mentoring more junior staff and assigning project tasks so team lead experience is a plus. Trading systems experience is not necessary for the position but production experience in low-latency systems environment and high-availability network environments is a huge plus.
Must have:
