Job Description

Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. is the world's largest provider of branded casino entertainment. Performs the following for Harrah's Atlantic City Operations:
  • Provides accurate advertising forecasts, accruals, justifications and financial reports on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for planning budget and maintaining approved plans.
  • Reviews local media opportunities and makes recommendations that best represent the company while staying within approved budget.
  • Plans, schedules and coordinates with AOR, in-house and various outside vendors the print, outdoor, and broadcast buys for the company under the supervision of VP of Marketing. Acts as the liaison between the Atlantic City market and Corporate Brand Marketing.
  • Manages all the content for multi-media and in-house murals, signage and collateral.
  • Responsible for the production and timely delivery of all direct mail.
  • Provides direction for the production of all advertising, graphic, direct mail and multimedia. Assists House of Blues, Mia, The Pier and other agencies and departments with their advertising and direct mail needs.
  • Develops and plans all marketing public relations strategies to maintain and enhance all brands in Atlantic City.
  • Works with VP of Marketing to plan annual company advertising objectives, including proposed creative concepts, media selection, campaign strategies and adverting action programs.
  • Ensures execution of effective marketing media channels target to either existing or new customers, including customers of the Harrah's brand.
  • Completes special assignments for upper management as requested.


Job Requirements

College degree in related field required; MBA preferred. Five to ten years of advertising or related field experience preferred. Experience in leading diversified and successful work teams. Experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, and consumer products or consulting preferred. Experience and successful track record in addressing and significant strategic issues, driving to resolution and identifying new opportunities. Experience presenting and working at senior levels within a medium to large organization. Strong analytical skills that bring together the financial objectives for the region, the advertising strategy, spend and all consumer insight findings. Ability to work independently and mange multiple initiatives and projects.  Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee License.
