Product Manager
Job Description
E*TRADE Financial is looking for a seasoned Product Management professional with a background in Active Trading Platforms. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the product development life cycle for existing platforms. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, analysis, and problem solving skills. Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to develop customer product solutions related to Active Trader products. - Articulate product ideas into well-crafted business and functional requirements documents. - Proactively engage developers, UI designers, marketing, operations, and service teams throughout the entire product rollout cycle. - Stay abreast of the competitive landscape for purposes of maintaining ongoing competitive analysis and idealizing innovative new feature-sets. - Define, plan, and execute on a product roadmap in alignment with business strategy. - Demonstrate ownership and sense of urgency in resolving issues.
Job Requirements
Qualifications: - Candidate must have a proven track record of developing and driving multiple product initiatives from concept to implementation. - 4+ years of product management experience required, preferably within the online brokerage industry. - Knowledge of Active Trader platforms (TradeStation, Interactive Brokers, Think or Swim, etc.) a plus. - Strong understanding of equities, options, and futures markets. - Experience writing business and functional requirements documents. - Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a dynamic work environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's degree required.
