Administrative Assistant Sr Assoc

Independently provides a full range of administrative support to a single senior leader and occasional support to 3 direct reports, and significant administrative support to two novel, industry leading projects: Physician Quality and Cost Transparency and Patient Centered Medical Home. Senior leader administrative support requires a solid knowledge of administrative protocols, including handling confidential information, and office procedures. Also required are the ability to assist in presentation development, meeting planning, and assisting in managing communications with physicians and organizations outside of CIGNA. Must be comfortable handling ambiguous situations and interacting with all levels of an organization and telephonically / electronically. Project support requires the ability to organize information, query standard data bases and assemble information for review and track the work flow of a complex project..

Requirements

¿ High School diploma with 4+ years Administrative Assistant work experience

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication (verbal, written, telephonic) skills
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to produce high quality work results
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong process improvement and project management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with a PC computer system including MS Word, Excel and Outlook; MS Project preferred
  • Ability to be flexible, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Prior experience dealing with confidential materials
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Microsoft Access comfort
  • Organization skills
  • Communication skills
  • Attention to detail.
