Product Engineer Job

Responsibilities

• Be the �go-to� person for the product line
• Drive product development projects using NPI (New Product Introduction) process with direct accountability for timelines and milestone review checkpoints
• Work with lead Engineer to coordinate alpha and beta sites for testing
• Coordinate matters of mutual concern with various departments such as service, sales, manufacturing, engineering, and office services
• Verify that new product performance meets requirements through direct, �hands-on� functional testing
• Complete definition process for new products including market assessment, pricing strategies, cost targets, product configurations and product specs

Requirements

• College graduate with degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
• Three to five years experience in sales, marketing, and product development, preferably experience in agricultural or related products
• Ability to plan and lead cross functional product development activities
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates and management
