Job Description:
The MRO Planning Manager is responsible for driving world-class performance for both in-stock levels and inventory turns of spare parts (approx. $20MM of inventory). including bringing innovation, process -know how-, and technical expertise in planning methodologies with a goal to optimize MRO inventory levels. The MRO Planning Manager reports directly to the Sr Manager, Supply Chain Planning.
KCI operates a complex supply chain supporting multiple lines of business, ranging from therapeutic support surfaces to specialized wound care medical equipment. In addition to balancing demand and supply between new products rolling off the assembly lines, the Global Supply Chain Planning organization is responsible for maintaining a balance between demand and supply for the spare parts, consumable supplies, and testing equipment (collectively: MRO inventory) that support uptime for KCI�s products
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
� Bachelors degree in Business, or related field with a supply chain emphasis
� At least 7 years of manufacturing planning/scheduling or supply chain management experience, including management of supply chain staff
� Experience with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and OutLook
Other Qualifications:
� Experience in identifying and prioritizing high impact improvement opportunities in an Operations environment
� Strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the -big picture- and diving into the details
� Demonstrated analytical skills � including experience to structure and analyze ambiguous and complex business problems
� Demonstrated ability to utilize data to drive decision making
� Demonstrated ability to the development of planning models for complex projects and programs
� Demonstrated Communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, including working with senior management
� Demonstrated project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities
� Demonstrated ability to deliver results through complex cross-functional teams
� Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
� Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
� Knowledge of Oracle and Business Objects
� Experience and training with advanced statics.
Preferred Qualifications:
� Masters degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Supply Chain, Operations, and Statistics
� APICS or relevant professional planning association certification
� Possess extensive knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
