Responsibilities:
The Sr. Manager of User Experience’s primary role is to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the user experience and site architecture of Yellowbook.com. This person will lead and build a team of UX professionals to establish a vision and strategy that results in the best possible user experience and is inline with and consistently supports our brand, marketing and revenue strategies.

Responsibilities:

- Creating a unifying vision for the user experience and design for the company's public and internal facing websites and mobile devices
-Establish, optimize and manage user experience management methodologies, incorporating industry standard best practices and lessons learned on previous projects, and ensuring the team is inline with companywide project management methodologies
-Provide guidance, insight and leadership to a team of information architects and designers, including providing clear expectations, training, guidance, career growth opportunities and conflict resolution
- Driving research, analysis, conceptual design, and detailed design phases for the User Experience of our services and devices
-Participating in all aspects of user experience design to provide expertise and guidance. This participation will include user research activities, developing design specifications and interactive prototypes
-Conducting usability analysis as well as organizing usability testing for new and existing features
-Designing solutions that satisfy project goals, requirements, and design tenets based on research, design patterns, and UI standards.
-Defining strategies aligned with business goals and market environment to create compelling and innovative user experiences
-Achieving creative solutions to product, technical, organizational, and other challenges that are encountered
-Identifying and driving cross functional groups synergies.
-Candidates should be able to work at an executive level and exhibit motivation, drive, ambition, customer focus, enthusiasm and tenacity
- Candidates should have a proven ability to source, hire, develop and retain the most talented people while empowering them to high performance

  • 7+ years experience in User Interface Architecture and Design or Human Factors Usability Engineering and recognized as an expert in field
  • Graduate degree in Human Factors, Interaction Design, Psychology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with extensive experience in simplifying complex workflows for web applications and mobile client applications
  • Experience successfully executing interaction design projects in accordance with development Sprint process
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and visual communication and presentation skills
  • Interact with and influence others effectively via teamwork and diplomacy
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • A solid understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods
