We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for a National Sales Director to recruit and lead a team of Clinical Account Executives to expand the sales of specialty products produced by Biovitrum, a biotech company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.   In this role, the successful candidate will be directing the national sales efforts in the US for Biovitrum as they expand to the US market.   Biovitrum recently acquired US rights to two products which are already being distributed to customers. This individual will be dedicated to the expansion of Biovitrum in the US including further expansions of field based personnel as needed. The right candidate will have the potential to join Biovitrum as a member of the senior leadership team at the end of the contract.  The National Sales Director will initially lead a team of 8 Clinical Account Executives (CAE) focused on selling Biovitrum products in the hospital bone marrow transplant setting.  The Director will be responsible for building a national sales team including directing the recruiting, hiring, training and ongoing management of the CAE's.  He or she will help develop the sales strategy in conjunction with the Brand Directors and will be responsible for the execution of this strategy along with the team. This position reports directly to the Commercial Director, North America. We are seeking a successful, qualified, highly experienced National Sales Director to direct this effort who possesses the following qualifications and requirements: National Sales Director The National Sales Director will represent Biovitrum professionally and with the highest degree of integrity and business ethics. He/she is responsible for expanding sales in the US through implementation of strategic brand initiatives. In addition he/she will manage all aspects of building and training the national sales team including: 

  •  Develop, agree and meet or exceed all sales goals
  •  Managing, with the assistance of Innovex recruiters, the recruiting process
  •  Provide guidance, leadership and management in setting goals for the sales team
  •  Directly manage the initial and on-going training needs utilizing both Biovitrum and Innovex training resources
  •  Develop national and account business plans, including meaningful goal setting and incentive plan administration, to direct sales efforts of the CAEs
  •  Represent the US sales efforts at Global Commercial meetings as required
  •  Oversee all communications from headquarters to the field team
  •  Provide ongoing coaching to each member of the sales team to reinforce product knowledge and core selling messages
  •  Provide written team management updates on a monthly basis

    Job Requirements

    Requirements 
  •  Bachelor's degree.
  •   Proven track record in leading a nationwide healthcare or pharmaceutical sales team; minimum of 3 years experience as National or Regional Sales Manager
  •   National Account management, sales operations and/ or training experience a plus
  •   Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decision making skills
  •   Ability to communicate effectively and work cross functionally within a team environment
  •   Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a national sales team to exceed objectives
  •   Boardroom selling and physician practice management experience; ability to build consensus and drive outcome based sales
  •   Good basic computer skills and ability to multi-task
  •   Ability to work independently and to travel extensively
  •   Preferred candidates have experience in the following:
    • Oncology /Biologic/Injectable/Institutional sales
    • Billing and reimbursement procedures specific to site of care
    • Thorough understanding of reimbursement, formulary and payor environment
    • Demonstrated ability to influence hospital protocols at institutional level
    • Knowledge of care systems, product and healthcare market
