Job Description

General Summary:

The responsibility of this position is to support, Payment Gateway Application and Systems.  The responsibility includes administration, maintenance and change management.  The candidate must possess excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills and have the ability to perform problem resolution and make process improvements.  Commitment to excellence in customer service and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is a must.  The position will be based in Family Dollar's Maquoketa, Iowa Distribution Center.  This position will require 3 months of training at the Corporate Office in Matthews, North Carolina.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the Company's payment gateway application systems.
  • Provide day-to-day monitoring of payment gateway application and systems.
  • Identify and respond to payment gateway events and incidents.
  • Ensure compliance to standards, policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Report performance statistics for products in service.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and have the ability to perform problem resolution and make process improvements.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • On call rotation.
  • Work on 2nd and 3rd Shift as required.
  • Maintain project schedules.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Document payment gateway network solutions.
  • Must be able to work outside normal hours in order to perform diagnosis and/or implementation of product releases or changes, on call support, so that normal workflow is not interrupted.
  • Other assigned duties.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent level of education and experience.

Certification: MCSE required, but will consider extended levels of experience.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of server and application administration.

Basic Knowledge: SCOM, HP Data Protector, IBM Director, Network and Server Monitoring Tools, CSA Manager, Microsoft Visio and PCI compliance.

Security: Active Directory Services and LDAP, PCI

Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Winders Server 2003, Hyper V Server

Hardware Knowledge: IBM Intel Based Servers, Network attached storage, Disk array technologies, Data Backup technologies, imaging
