We are currently seeking a Records Manager to be located on-site at one of our client facilities in _____,____ .
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Analyze the information needs of the organization and develop recommendations for information plans that reflect these needs
  • Potentially provide supervision and leadership to on-site PBMS records/clerical staff
  • Undertake audits of information created and stored within the organization
  • Develop recommendations for policies regarding the distribution and storage of records, including the incorporation of new information technologies into the organization
  • Create and maintain databases for the control and retrieval of information
  • Ensure that all aspects of record keeping adhere to relevant legislation and client site guidelines
  • Determine procedures to ensure compliance to periods for which records are to be kept and ensure that records are disposed of or archived according to policy and requirements
  • Foster adherence to disaster plans to ensure the organization has the necessary information to continue functioning in the event of a major disaster .
  •  Develop recommendations for current and future information management needs by consulting with people at all levels about the current work systems and processes in deciding how improvements could be made
  • Identify and create the potential for add-on business by developing a deep understanding of the clients' business strategy and needs
  • Analyze the information needs of the organization and develop technological solutions to satisfy those needs
  • Oversee the provision of training for users and clients of records and information management software applications
  • Work with the IT manager to identify integration and operations issues associated with computer hardware and software applications in RIM operations

Requirements Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years records management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, email applications and applicable records management software
  • Experience in a service-delivery environment highly desired
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written form
  • Supervisory experience required
  • May be required to lift, move and shelve files, exhibits and records storage boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
