Vets4Vets is a Peer Support Organization that is seeking an Office Manager for its National Office in Tucson, AZ. 4 yr. degree or equivalent experience in office administration is necessary. Military service in Iraq or Afghanistan post 9/11 is preferred.

Duties
The Officer Manager will be responsible for handling all administrative tasks - phones, emails, faxes, billing, accounts and payroll. Duties also include workshop planning, assisting fellow staff on upcoming projects and proposals, and any other office-related duties.

Job Description
Scope of Work: The Office Manager handles all administrative and clerical tasks in the Vets4Vets National Office. The Office Manager is also responsible for assisting fellow staff and maintaining the overall wellness of the office. This is a full-time position.
Functional Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and take messages
• Check Vets4Vets Main email and forward to staff
• Open and distribute mail
• Pay bills
• Maintain files
• Prepare and distribute payroll
• Maintain office accounts
• Oversee fund distribution and in-office petty cash
• Organize weekend workshops
• Maintain contact with Iraq and Afghanistan veterans
• Create and maintain office databases and veteran lists
• Maintain office calendar
• Create/develop correspondence for the organization
• Attend staff meetings
• Work closely with other staff on upcoming projects
• Report to the Director
Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals
• Experience working with people
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 4-year degree or equivalent, or at least 2 years of related administrative experience
Other notes:
• Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9am – 5pm with one hour for lunch. All staff is expected to work one evening per week and one weekend per month in peer support groups or workshops (organized by us).
• The Office Manager will also be expected to participate in the peer support process.
Salary: $40,000.00/year
