Sunrise Senior Living is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst at our corporate offices located in McLean, VA.
 
As a direct report to the Director of Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Analyst's primary responsibilities are to test, maintain and improve existing BI reports and dashboards on both Oracle and MS platforms; assist in designing, developing, testing and maintaining new dashboards according to documented requirements; and support the field with training and demos. Other responsibilities also include: researching, evaluating and staying current on Oracle BI tools (BI Publisher, SmartView, BI Office), as well as Office products (Excel, Access)
 

• Minimum BS in Finance or Computer Science or has equivalent work experience, MBA or CMA preferred
• Two years experience with data modeling/data analysis 
• 1-2 years experience with Visual Basic for Office, Oracle or SQL
• Ability to collaborate with several departments and teams on key BI technology projects
• High flexibility. Ability to work in small, rapid-development teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented

• 1 year of development experience using Oracle's Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
• Experience creating highly complex Excel tools
• Comprehensive knowledge of Access/Excel environment and their limitations
• Experience with Hyperion Excel Add-in
• Reporting/Production Reporting or Essbase
• Understanding of JavaScript and HTML
