Job Description
Phoenix Children's Hospital is the only specialty children's hospital in Arizona and it is poised to become one of the foremost pediatric hospitals in the nation. The hospital is home to the state's largest group of pediatric specialists and sub-specialists. In addition, the hospital continues to evolve its clinical practices and is working with leading local and national research partners to uncover new breakthroughs in pediatric medicine.
 
Currently a 345 bed facility, new construction plans were unveiled in October 2006 that include the building of two new patient bed towers and expansion in bed capacity and other key programs and services over the course of the next several years.  In short, PCH is a growing, thriving organization where opportunities for personal development and promotion of our employees will continue in years to come.
 
Performs diagnostic computerized tomography scanning procedures to produce consistently high quality examinations in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations and licensing requirements.
 
Activities are primarily performed in an environmentally controlled hospital setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking; regular exposure to a variety of toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of radiation.  Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer equipment, fixed diagnostic imaging equipment; bending, lifting, reaching, stooping and lifting up to 40 pounds including positioning and re-positioning patients.  Ability to clearly communicate verbally in English, read, write, see and hear to perform essential duties.

Job Requirements
1. Current Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners license.
2. Current BLS certification from the American ehart Assocaition.
3. Current registration in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) ini CT.
 
Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years previous pediatric and MRI experience preferred.
