As a Sourcing Specialist (Supply Chain Management), you are a member of PNC's Corporate Purchasing Department.  PNC's Supply Chain Management operations are among the most significant within leading financial institutions. This position can be based in either Pittsburgh or Cleveland.  Your Supply Chain Management experience will be greatly utilized as you identify sourcing projects, conduct due diligence, leverage on-line bidding/e-Sourcing tools, pepare and execute contracts and provide assistance and technical guidance to both business partners and sourcing leaders.  This position will work with a high level of autonomy and will provide feedback to the Strategic Sourcing Manager and CPO.
 

 Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Executing the strategic sourcing process for Human Resource related commodities such as Talent Management, Recruitment Websites, Relocation Services, Staffing Agencies and some Employee Insurances.
  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies for such commodities ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and brand goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate polices and procedures, purchasing policies and procedures, as well as laws and regulations regarding such areas as the Enterprise Vendor Managment program and MWDBE suppliers/supplier diversity initiative.


JobRequirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Managementt, Marketing, Finance or Accounting required.
  • 5-8 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience required.
  • Specialized training in Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Experience  with Ariba Buyer/Professional preferred.
  • Previous project/vendor management, contract drafting, negotiation, and sales or marketing experience preferred.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager and/or Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
