Job Description

Responsible for providing insight into an external client's program through data and analysis.  This insight is evidenced by a greater understanding of past and current activity as well as anticipating potential future activity.  The results of this insight contribute to the optimization of operational processes and management decision-making.
 
This responsibility is accomplished through designing and performing activity and performance based analytics for assigned client program.  Responsible for summarizing and communicating results of analysis to Manpower and client program management.

 Design, Implement, and Maintain Client Program Specific Analytics Routine
  • Gain understanding of client and related industry
  • Gain understanding of program objectives
  • Identify key performance metrics supporting program objectives
  • Identify other important, contractual, and other program performance measures
  • Determine appropriate level of analysis segmentation (line of business, client location, skill category, …)
  • Create inventory of program performance measures and audience
  • Establish baseline performance to extent possible
  • Determine target performance, upper control limit, and lower control limit, as applicable
  • Create client specific analytical routine (listing of measures, analytical approach applied, schedule, deliverables, recipients, and recipient potential actions / decision making from analysis)
  • Obtain consensus of client specific analytical routine
Perform Client Program Specific Analytics Routine
  • Install and execute the designed and approved client analytics routine
  • Reach out to program participants to validate, provide insight into, provide clarity on, and /or identify the root cause of findings
  • Conduct "freestyle" analysis outside of established routine as deemed appropriate
Communicate Results of Analysis
The communication of results may take several forms, including written correspondence, informal in-person review meetings, and/or formal presentations.  Communications will focus on the summary results of the analysis, identification of areas of note/concern, findings, and recommendations.  This role is not expected to simply send reports.  This role will participate in program governance council meetings and quarterly business reviews.
 
Lead / Participate in Process Improvement Initiatives
The analytics or an operational finding may trigger the need for additional investigation and/or a process improvement initiative.  This role is expected to lead or participate such initiatives.
 
Perform Cross Program Analysis
In addition to performing intra-program analysis, this role will perform cross program analysis.  This role is expected to establish strong lines of communication amongst other program analysts to facilitate the performance of cross program analysis as well as share best practices and resolution to common challenges.
 
Engage and Leverage Marketing Intelligence Department and External Market Resources
This role is expected to seek and bring into the program additional, outside knowledge and expertise.  Team with the Manpower Marketing Intelligence Department in the completion of client market analytic deliverables.  Identify and leverage external market references and resources that provide enhance the program analytics and benefit the client.
 
Participate / Lead in the Design, Development, and Use of Program Reporting
A strong linkage and consistency must exist between program reporting and program analytics.  Therefore this role will lead and/or be an active contributor in the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of program reporting.
 


Job Requirements

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related field
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Required Years of Experience:
  • 3 - 5+ years of analyst experience
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in staffing industry
  • Experience in the industry of the client and/or the predominant classification of services (i.e. industrial, administrative, professional, …) being provided to the client are preferred.
