Job Description
Classification: Full Time
Compensation: $60000 to $75000 per year
Top national level client selected as a Fortune 100 Top Employer is seeking to fill multiple Network Security Administrator III positions. The right candidate will possess knowledge of PERL Ruby RAILS preferred. Knowledge of DNS (A records, CNAMES, MX records, Authority Section, TTL values). Advanced knowledge of PIX firewall required. Maintain customer DNS Zones including updates and performing migrations, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Cisco IDS configuration and tuning, load balancing, IP routing and switching required. Knowledge or familiarity with web hosting recommended. Proficient at researching issues using traffic analysis tools, debug tools, and vendor information. Excellent attitude, great phone etiquette, minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute. Will possess the ability to both record and follow detailed instructions, perform vendor research into advanced configurations and solutions. Must have the ability to work in a mixed environment of GUI and command line operation systems. Will have the ability and desire to work within a team driven environment and be responsible to work independently. Requires bachelor's degree in computer / network information systems or five years of related experience. Must have current CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional) certification preferred.
