TERROS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based organization which has been addressing behavioral health needs since 1969. TERROS provides prevention, education and treatment services in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Click here for a complete listing of services and programs.
TERROS began as a grassroots volunteer group operating a hotline and drop-in center and has grown from Phoenix area's first substance abuse treatment program to a comprehensive behavioral health organization of more than 300 trained professionals who served more than 25,000 people and families in 2005.
TERROS' dedicated professionals have a clear vision and commitment to providing excellent services and is recognized as an innovator and leader as a primary provider of mental health crisis services and substance abuse treatment programs. TERROS is an accredited behavioral health provider by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, also know as CARF.

Job Summary: Assist TERROS in maintaining and improving performance with applicable contract, licensure and accreditation standards. This position is responsible for quality assurance monitoring and quality improvement strategies for clinical and administrative documentation and processes, including behavioral health assessments, treatment plans, treatment progress records and closure documentation for the clinical programs and other programs as assigned; gathering consumer and stakeholder input, analyzing and writing summary reports according to the TERROS plan and contractual requirements; participating in and contributing to the continuous quality improvement process of clinical documentation for staff of designated programs and providing technical support of performance monitoring and performance improvement activities. Providing utilization management oversight for designated programs .Providing technical support for program and QM staff in performance monitoring and performance improvement activities. Requirements: The talent for thinking critically and analyzing information and effective communication with all levels of staff. Masters degree with 2-3years experience in behavioral health; Prefer licensure in either counseling or social work with either LPC or LCSW. Three years experience in behavioral health in an administrative or supervisory capacity with emphasis in substance abuse, mental health , co-occurring disorders or serious mental illness;Two years experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement systems;Very knowledgeable in computer software and data management, especially in Excel and Word; knowledge of designing spreadsheets and graphs; capability in writing detailed, accurate, and thorough reports.
