Description Columbia St. Mary's, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is comprised of four hospitals: Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Milwaukee, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Columbia, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee, and Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Institute, as well as 39 primary care clinics, the Columbia College of Nursing, and a partnership with the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin. The system serves Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Sheboygan counties, with more than 158 years of service. In 2006 and 2007, Columbia St. Mary’s was named a Solucient Top 100 Hospital. In 2007, Columbia St. Mary’s was one of only 14 hospitals in the nation to be selected by the National Cancer Institute as a pilot site for its Community Cancer Centers Program.   • High school diploma or equivalent is requiredRESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serves as an expert resource to departments and Medical staff regarding products, purchased services, and procurement practices.
    • Contributes sound decision making for supplies and equipment that meet customer needs in a cost effective manner.
    • Works collaboratively with internal and external customers.
    • Effectively utilizes procurement systems to manage and process CSM departmental supply and service requisitions.
    • Understands use of contracts and CSM's relationships with regard to Broadlane and Ascension.
    • Exhibits skills necessary for successful procurement practices.
    QAULIFICATIONS:

    • One to three years in-depth procurement experience required.
    • Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
    • Skilled negotiator, familiar with Group Purchasing Organizations. 
    • Proficient in Materials Management information systems.
