Description of Duties

  • Oversees assigned retail account activities related to permanent merchandising
  • Reviews POP and fixture specifications
  • Initiates and leads project meetings
  • Communicates timeline, product specifications and legal requirements to the department and outside vendors
  • Acts as a liaison between Merchandising and other NOA departments in communicating POP requirements
  • Verifies at key points that all legal requirements are being met
  • Communicates with NOA departments and external contacts to obtain approvals on merchandising designs
  • Determines which components require part numbers and provides specifications to Engineering for part number assignment
  • Assists with the creation and management of budgets
  • Provides art direction
  • Assists in managing vendors and creates art as needed for merchandising use
  • Attends POP press checks
  • Maintains various merchandising reports
  • Up to 5% travel
  • All other assigned duties

 

 

 


Summary of Requirements

  • Knowledge of retail merchandising, marketing, printing, fixture manufacturing, inventory and quality control procedures
  • Experience in a technical environment helpful
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products helpful
  • PC word processing, database, spreadsheet skills and graphic design helpful (Word, Excel and Photoshop preferred)
  • AS/400 skills
  • Good organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic analytical skills
  • Two to four years related experience
 
Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, a related field, or equivalent
  • Formal training in marketing practices or equivalent preferred
