Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, this representative will contact prospective students to schedule interview appointments for candidates interested in DeVry University's academic programs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing self-generated leads and assisting applicants with all phases of the student admissions process from the personal interview to qualifying them for enrollment and assisting them throughout the enrollment and registration process.

 

This position will be based at our Raleigh, NC campus.

  • Recruits new students to achieve budgeted goals for each term. Strives to reach the expected conversion goals for each stage of the recruiting process,
  • Provides student services to new and continuing students and is highly knowledgeable of the School's mission, history, curriculum, courses, academic policies and faculty,
  • Analyzes recruitment numbers and projects the number of new leads expected for each term and sets goals for each stage of the recruiting process. Maintains reports on admissions activity,
  • Interviews prospective students and administers entrance exams. Presents and sells programs during the interview and responds to any prospect needs,
  • Makes decisions concerning admissions and adheres to all policies and procedures. Ensures that all Admission paperwork is completed properly,
  • Prepares weekly reports on status of leads and participates in staff meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a business related discipline. Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience. Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills. Must have strong selling capabilities and knowledge of all courses offered. Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet applications.
