Job Description
Open for relocation in Washington D.C. ? Our client has an outstanding reputation in the service industry and looking to add to their team immediately in their D.C. office! Candidates must be open to relocation. Relocation package perks available.
Reports To:Audit Manager

Travel Required: Up to 50%
Summary of Position:
The primary responsibility of the staff auditor is to conduct sox/financial audits. This includes pre-audit planning, fieldwork, interviewing key personnel and participating in closing meetings. From time to time you may also be involved in special projects, i.e. fraud investigation, operational inquires, etc. This position will develop into a lead auditor role that can lead to an audit manager position in the near future.

Essential Responsibilities:
In addition to the aforementioned:
Prepare audit findings for various levels of management
Stay abreast of changes to audit standards, governmental laws, and regulatory compliance requirements
Assist the plants and corporate on implementing audit recommendations
Job Requirements
Experience Required:
Up to 3 years experience covering areas of financial and SOX audit experience. Public accounting and or automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with individuals at all organizational levels is a must. Foreign language skills and knowledge of QAD, JDE, and Outlook Soft are a bonus.
